Here we are into September. Where has our summer gone? But it has been a lovely summer. Never has the grass been greener or the flowers more beautiful. A rose bush in front of our Tower has been blooming for the second time and is still as pretty.

Concert series begins third year

It's in its third year. The concert series organized by Lisa Hornung and Jaya Hoy, who both grew up in North Battleford and have enjoyed international musical careers, starts its third season Sunday, Sept. 16.

Seniors gather for supper, entertainment

Seniors got together in Maymont for an afternoon of entertainment and a potluck supper. Seniors from Borden, Radisson and surrounding areas joined the Maymont seniors. The seniors gave great reviews about the entertainment and the food.

Polkafest a huge hit

The annual Hafford Polka Festival is held the second weekend in July in the Hafford Communiplex. The festival hosts great polka music provided by some well established local and prominent musicians.
