Country Corners Multiple 4-H Club has started a new year. Members held elections Oct.

Librarian Sheryle Powley and special events administrator Amanda Minten encourage individuals to stop by the library and check out the books, services and planned events schedule.

Eighteen were present at the St. Walburg Royal Purple October meeting, which was conducted by Honoured Royal Lady Georgina Schneider. She welcomed everyone by wishing a happy Thanksgiving.

Saskatchewan-based singer/songwriter duo Saskia and Darrel are preparing to sing their last few local shows of the season before heading out for new horizons. Chapel Galley in North Battleford is to be the venue for a Remembrance Day concert Nov. 9.

Codie Yasieniuk of Hafford and Anna Verbonac of Marcelin were two of the 10 Saskatchewan 4-H members selected to travel to Montreal in September to attend the national 4-H conference.

There will be a trade show Nov. 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Maymont Memorial Hall. Please join us for this event. The library will have lunch available and all proceeds will go to the library. It will be a great place to buy Christmas gifts.

The Faith Alive Band is the result of combining extreme musical talent with strong faith and dedicated Christians.

To celebrate Library Week, the Borden Lakeland Library had author Todd Devonshire out to showcase his first book - Rink Burgers. Master of ceremonies was Peter Thiessen who welcomed everyone and introduced Todd.
