Fun begins for Country Corners

Country Corners Multiple 4-H Club has started a new year.

Members held elections Oct. 16 and the new executives are: president - Allyssa Yarrow; vice-president - Jaxen Rowlinds; secretary - Danika Guggenberger; treasurer - Taniesha Yarrow; photographer - Megan Schwark; and reporters - Steven Hirschfeld and Jamie Schwark.

The club's general leader is Tanya Beland and assistant general leader is Karla Yarrow.

There are many projects offered through 4-H. Those chosen by members this year are archery, beef, light horse and welding.

The club is looking into purchasing jackets.

Other news includes the curling bonspiel coming up. Practices are scheduled for Dec. 5, 12 and 19 and Jan. 2. The district bonspiel is Jan. 5 and the regional bonspiel is Jan. 19 and 20.

Danika Guggenberger and Taniesha Yarrow are on the Christmas party committee. Christmas party ideas include snowmobiling, paintball, zip line, tobogganing, swimming and bowling.

There are approximately 17 members, with four being brand new, first-year members. Kids ages six to 25 can join.
