The Cribbage games to be held Jan. 28 were cancelled due to weather and sickness. Bingo was held Jan. 30 with a small crowd in attendance. Callers were Bev Stewart and Denise Newton. Denise also provided lunch.

School community council raises playground funds

Norman Carter School Community Council held a family dance at the Saskcan Centre Feb. 8. The dance was a fundraiser for the Norman Carter Playground.

We have been fortunate not to have the snowstorms that have plagued eastern Canada. However, the light snow, the fairly strong winds and milder temperatures have made driving difficult since the roads and highways have been icy.
