Singing and dancing friends of Fiji

Eagle's Wing is the name of a professional singing and dance family from Fiji who now reside in Canada. Their music and dance is famous in the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Pacific.

Eagles Wings, comprised of Dee Bulamaibau, Diso Bulamaibau, Nanise Seru, Christine Bulamaibau, Marana Bulamaibau and Charles Bulamaibau will perform in Hafford and North Battleford.

Eagle's Wing is the name of a professional singing and dance family from Fiji who now reside in Canada.

Their music and dance is famous in the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Pacific.

They have placed in first place in national competitions in Fiji the past three years running. The group has been contracted by the Fijian government to act as ambassadors for their country through song and dance. Their tour will take them throughout Canada starting on the west coast.

Their performance is done in three parts -Polynesian dance, Fijian dance and singing in groups and solo.

The family group consists of dad Ben Bulamaibau, son Charles, daughters Diso, Christine, Marana and Dee. Their friends Malakai Seru, his daughter Nanise and Gordon Gray will accompany them on this tour. They started singing together as a young family in 1992 and started recording in 2003.

Tours also started in 2003 in Fiji and spread throughout the many islands of the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Pacific. In 2012, the group came to Canada and started touring with the Surry Fusian Festival and followed with various locations in British Columbia and Alberta.

In 2013, the tours came to Saskatchewan. Feb. 23, the group will be in the Hafford Comnuniplex. Hafford and surrounding communities are invited to come to see the unique performance of this group.

March 2, the group will be at the Dekker Centre, North Battleford.
