Some residents of the Oasis Care who that are in wheelchairs or using walkers and coming to church find it hard to use the stairs. Now thanks to the addition of the stair chair lift installed by Maximum Mobility everyone can access the downstairs for fellowship and social functions.

Church services are held every Sunday at 9 a.m. with Rev. Gail Wensley ministering to the congregation. There is an active Sunday school and choir and everyone is welcome.

The annual meeting of Speers and District United Church will be held on Feb. 24 with church service at 4 p.m. followed by a potluck supper then the meeting. The church also has its annual spring tea and bake sale and dinner theatre coming up soon.
