The SHHS senior girls basketball team played a four team tournament recently in Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association action Feb. 11 in their home gymnasium. Three teams were invited to participate.

Jason Boyda's Yorkdale Central Public School boys' basketball team have seen an awful lot of action over the past 7-10 days. It started at the Yorkton Regional High School one week ago, and then concluded at Yorkdale over the weekend.

Sarah Slywka of Yorkton was part of the women's curling team that won the finals of the SaskPower Scotties Tournament of Hearts Jan. 25-29 in Humboldt. Now she and her team are heading to the Scotties nationals set for this weekend in Red Deer.

The Yorkton Regional High School boys' curling team is off to bigger and better things-again. The senior curling tournament of Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association (SHSAA) was held over the weekend at the local curling club.

Sacred Heart and Esterhazy were both competing over the weekend at the Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association (SHSAA) senior curling championships. Both teams qualified for the regional playdowns in Raymore.
