There has been another vicious assault and bear-spray incident in North Battleford. Three city residents have been charged so far in connection to the incident, which took place on 109th Street in North Battleford around 5 am last Friday morning.

Permit values take a big dip

More building permits were issued in North Battleford in May than last year, but the permit values were less than 2010 numbers. A total of 19 permits were issued for $671,100, compared to 17 for $3,095,000 in May 2010.

City approves budget

The 2011 City of Humboldt budget was approved at the regular council meeting held on June 13. "This year has been a very complicated budget year," said Mayor Malcolm Eaton during the meeting.
