The Town of Battleford has agreed to provide $7,000 in funding to Concern for Youth in 2011.
Town council approved the amount, which was determined on a per-capita basis with respect to the town's population, at Monday night's town council meeting.
The organization had been seeking a funding commitment from both the Town and the City of North Battleford to keep their organization running in the Battlefords, providing outreach services to youth in the Battlefords community.
