The Battlefords Photo Club held its monthly meeting May 7 at the Allen Sapp Gallery. The theme for the montly photo challenge was "a drop of water," with Adele Perrett's photo entitled "Deliciously Wet" winning the challenge.

Church building's century of history celebrated

The church building that stands at the corner of 13th Avenue and 102nd Street in North Battleford is 100 years old this year. It is now known as Third Avenue United Church, but in 1912, when construction began, there was no United Church of Canada.
