Museum reps meet in Meadow Lake

The Northwest Museum Association spring meeting was held at Meadow Lake Museum on May 4 with more than 40 members in attendance.

The Northwest Museum Association spring meeting was held at Meadow Lake Museum on May 4 with more than 40 members in attendance.

Museums representatives were from Bresaylor, Cut Knife, Glaslyn, Go0dsoil, Lashburn, Loon Lake, Maidstone, Rabbit Lake, St .Walburg, Spiritwood, Wilkie, Regina and hosts Meadow Lake.

On arrival those attending were given goodie bags and muffins and coffee were available. President Gwen Zwiefel got the meeting underway promptly at 10 a.m. Deputy Mayor Elaine Yaychuk bought greetings from the town.

The business portion of the meeting was taken care of until 12:30 p.m. A delicious catered Chinese meal was served followed by a gift exchange. Cowboy poet Linda Nadon entertained.

Lucille Bullerwelle of Cut Knife gave a very informative talk about archives. A tour of the Meadow Lake Museum followed. A session about copyright was given byMay Lin of Regina.

Lunch was provided and everyone went home after a most informative and enjoyable day.
