The Notre Dame CWL Council hosted the 66th annual Saskatchewan Provincial Catholic Women's League Convention in North Battleford June 2 and 3. Held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, registration was held from 10 a.m.

Hi there again! It's so hard to believe May has gone by so quickly. May 31 was one of our nicest days, though. It was just beautiful, so sunny and warm. I do hope some of you got out to enjoy that sunshine.

Get well wishes go out to Vera Lundell of Lloydminster who had the misfortune of breaking her pelvis bone and wrist around June 1. She was taken to an Edmonton hospital for surgery and is presently in Lloydminster hospital.

The Sons of Norway could be found at Meota June 6 for their annual golf tournament at the Meota Golf Course and for Norwegian whist at the Do Drop In. Eight people played golf but no one got pictures of the winners.

The school year is quickly coming to an end. It is hard to believe there are only three weeks left until summer vacation begins. These last three weeks will be very busy with finishing courses, exams and year-end excursions.
