Lady rider wins amateur bull riding contest

Another CCA rodeo is in the books for Edam. The amateur bull riding was held Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. The top six of 20 riders moved onto the short go. Once again professional rodeo clown, Dennis Halstead, entertained those in attendance.

The last few days have been much cooler. We did have some very warm weather previous to the cooler, cloudy time. It seemed much warmer because of the high humidity which is rather unusual in this area.
