The last few days have been much cooler. We did have some very warm weather previous to the cooler, cloudy time. It seemed much warmer because of the high humidity which is rather unusual in this area.
Some swathing is being done so if we do have warmer weather for a spell, harvest time is not far away.
I have not received any news for the paper only my own activities which included a trip to Saskatoon where I was guest of my grandson, Mark Oddan, his wife Tracy and their son Carter.
While there, we attended two evenings of Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan. This year's productions were Romeo and Juliet and The Taming of the Shrew, both excellent productions. The setting, in a tent by the river, must be just like the settings in the days when the plays were first produced.
We also spent a morning at the zoo at the Forestry Farm, a very interesting place. It is interesting to see so many people there with their children.
