Six Yorkton IP teams set to play this weekend

The 2012 Yorkton Farrell Agencies/Ottenbreit Sanitation Initiation tournament will be held at the Farrell Agencies Arena and Kinsmen Arena on March 3-4, 2012.

Coach Darrell Sobkow and his Clean Spot novice hockey team are getting ready for upcoming playoff action. On Feb. 27 they head to Langenburg. On Feb. 29., they play the Thorsness novice Terriers at the Yorkton Kinsmen Arena.

Local curler plays in SaskTel provincials

It's been quite the month for Yorkton's Jeff Sharp. The current resident of Saskatoon represented Rosetown late last month in the northern curling championships in Nipawin.
