After splitting a pair of road games, the bantam AA Terriers jumped into fourth spot in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League standings with a 12-9-4 record.

The Yorkton Terriers played only one game over the last week, a road win. As a result the Terriers remain atop the league's Sherwood Conference with a record of 34-12-1-2 for 71 points, three better than Melville with 68.

The Yorkton Regional High School senior girls Raiders basketball team edged the Sacred Heart High School senior girls Saints in their four-team tournament this past weekend, going undefeated with a 3-0 record.

Yorkton hosted the 17U Women Sask. Cup this past weekend at the Gallagher Centre and St. Michael's School. The Regina Volleyball Club 17U Gold defeated the Regina QCVC in two sets (25-20, 25-18) in the final to take the tournament.

The Yorkton Terriers made it six straight wins this week, and remained entrenched atop the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League's Sherwood Conference. The Terriers sport a 33-12-1-2 record for 69 points, seven better than Melville.
