The AA Xerox Terriers beat Warman 6-1 in the A-side of their home tournament on February 1-2.
The Frame Tech Novice Terriers won 6-5 in overtime in the D-side final against Russell in a Langenburg-based tournament on Feb. 1-2.
The Yorkton Cardinals' annual pre-season meeting will be held at Touch of Asia Buffet at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17. The meeting entails laying out the upcoming Western Major Baseball League season. The Cardinals encourage the public to make an appearance.
The Yorkton Martial Arts Training Center is holding their ninth annual Abominable Snow Slam on Saturday, March 2. The event will take place at Dr. Brass Elementary School. There is a $10 admission charge at the door. There are, however, advance tickets available right now for $5.

The winners of the tournament: boys' singles - Derrick Budz (Yorkdale), girls' singles - Halley Harris (M.C. Knoll), boys' doubles - M.C Knoll, girls' doubles - St. Pauls, mixed doubles - St. Theodore.
