Bogdan leads Harvest to a pair of wins

Despite being outshoot 70-49 in their weekend road trip against the Prince Albert Mintos and Saskatoon Blazers, the Yorkton Harvest came away with two wins. For the most part, puck-stopper Carson Bogdan was the key to the Harvest's success.

The MC Knoll grade 7-8 boys and Yorkton Regional High School grade 9-10 girls held their eighth annual basketball battle of the sexes on Thursday, February 14. The boys bested the girls, taking the match 42-19.

Yorkton is sending 25 bowlers and nine coaches to the youth bowling provincials held in Regina on March 3. In the competition, the bowlers will be competing for gold medals to advance to the national finals held in Langley, B.C., in late May.
