Last weekend, the Yorkton Regional High School wrestling team was given the opportunity to learn from some of the most influential names in the sport.

The Preeceville Panthers junior girls volleyball team toppled all its opponents with no losses recorded throughout an entire tournament in Canora on September 29 and 30.

Tarrington Wyonzek and his younger brother Tannum, grandsons of Henry and Anne Wyonzek of Canora, and sons of Pat and Karen Wyonzek of Yorkton, are getting closer to reaching their goal of being on-ice officials in the NHL.

The Saskatchewan Hockey Association (SHA) in partnership with the University of Regina Cougars Women鈥檚 Hockey Team held the Eighth Annual Mandi Schwartz Challenge September 21 to 24 at the Cooperators Centre in Regina.

Preeceville School athletes have been working hard towards their goal of representing their school at all cross-country meets held this fall.

Cross-Country practice at Canora Composite School (CCS) started on September 6, and students have since participated in two cross-country meets.
