Several mental health programs are being offered at the Assiniboia Union Hospital starting in March with pre-registration required.

Hal Schrenk, who grew up in Assiniboia and now lives in Saskatoon, has been nominated for two Saskatchewan Country Music Association awards.

The Notekeu League championship final between the Assiniboia Rebels and the Mossbank Blades got underway on March 3 and 4 with both teams coming away with a win. In game one, Mossbank won 4-3 at the Assiniboia Civic Centre on March 3.

With a mumps outbreak in neighbouring Manitoba and Alberta, Saskatchewan public health officials are on the alert for any appearance of the virus. Mumps is an infection caused by a virus.
