The ladies' boot camp class in Maymont will be entering a team in the annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Run for the Cure. To show your support for the team please join them June 24 at 6 p.m. for a steak night at the Maymont Hotel.

The Borden Dance Club held their recitals the evening of May 7 and afternoon of May 8th in the Borden Community Centre. There were 32 dances on the program and some were different at each recital.

Members of the North Battleford Royal Purple Lodge No. 173 attended a District No. 6 meeting in Cut Knife May 1. District Deputy Audrey Griffith chaired the meeting, which was attended by 44 ladies, with St. Walburg and Unity also represented.

Summer residents filtering back to village

As Mother Nature finally has her recycled hay together and figured out what season we are supposed to be in, other signs of spring and the progress into summer are starting to show.

CIB hosts Country Blend

The weekend was a busy one in our village. The annual meeting of the community centre was held Friday evening. Saturday morning saw an enthusiastic group of people working on the cemetery clean up.

Mothers treated royally

Dale and Debbie Kennedy, Scotty and Darlene Kennedy of Lloydminster and Sam and Barb Kennedy of Maidstone all visited their mom Theresa Kennedy for Mother's Day. They all enjoyed supper at Cindy's Place.
