Three new residents welcomed

An enjoyable summer is upon us again. It is good to see the gardens and flowers growing so nicely. Many residents are away enjoying travel or family arriving from quite far away.

Activities wind down for the summer

Here it is already the end of June. How time flies. There were many happy smiles going around here after the wonderful rain recently. Now if we can just get the weatherman to give some nice sunny weather it would be great.

Canada Day weekend at Glenburn Regional Park was outstanding. Mel Deagnon arranged weekend jam sessions starting July 1 and ending July 3. Musicians got together to perform for the crowds that gathered all three days to listen to their music.

School is out! And summer is only eight short weeks, so make the most of every day. Graduation was held June 30 with the exercises at the school gym in the morning. The social and dance were held in the evening at the Unity Community Centre.
