The Timberland Rodeo went off as usual this last weekend, but a couple of showers during the day resulted in a lot of mud. This caused some problems but, as with any event, they carried on and completed as best they could.

Summer is time for visiting

Tuesday morning at the Pine Island Suites we enjoyed celebrating Janice and Mae McConnell's birthdays. We visited, played bingo and enjoyed birthday cake. Congratulations to you both. Hope we can enjoy many more.

Unity resident semifinalist in songwriting competition

With a song titled Listen to Your Heart, Donna Boser has earned a second semifinalist spot for Song of the Year. Donna entered the international songwriting contest March 17, writing a song about what she did as a kid and what her heart yearned for.
