Yuck! Winter driving! Driving, Tuesday I saw two vehicles pull out onto the highway, windows frosted and snow piled on their vehicles. What's with that? There are also drivers who come right up to your back bumper and than decide to pass you.

We won't complain about the weather as we see such weather that is so destructive and terrible, elsewhere. We must count our blessings.

Excellent turnout for student-led conferences

The first complete set of student-led conferences were held on the evenings of Nov. 19 and 20. It was the first time the two evenings were conducted in this new format. There was an excellent turnout for both evenings.

The students of H. Hardcastle School held their Remembrance Day service on the afternoon of Nov. 6. The service began with the entrance of the flag-bearers, Jesse Cadrain and Anthony Cole, escorting the honoured members of the Edam Legion.

Kaiser tournaments hosted twice a month

Winter has arrived and in spite of the cold temperatures and snowy streets activities continue at the Action Now Seniors' Centre. Evening Kaiser tournaments are now being held twice a month instead of once.
