Ball games featured at Western Weekend
A coed slo-pitch tournament, on July 16, during the Preeceville Lions Western Weekend attracted 12 teams. The Rama Rams defeated the Ryley's Rockets to win the A side and the Outlaws defeated the Thunder Monkeys to win the B side.

Western Weekend featured gymkhana events
The Etoimamie Valley Riders Club allowed avid horse riders to showcase their skills at various events during the gymkhana event which was part of the Preeceville Western Weekend July 16 and 17. Jen Hue was the announcer for the two-day event.

The residents of the Preeceville and District Health Centre will be enjoying a new addition of a large outdoor gazebo. The steel framed gazebo measures 10 feet by 20 feet and was placed on a cement pad.
