      Preeceville Elementary students showcased their athletic abilities at the annual track-and-field day meet on September 9.
           "The day kicked off with a barbecue followed by students participating in various events," said Sheila Kelbeck.
           Grades 1 to 6 students focused their skills on ball toss, running long jump, long jump, high jump, and numerous running events. Ribbons were awarded to the top three finishers in each event.
