The couple arrived in Preeceville on September 7 and has been staying with a cousin, Agnes Murrin and her husband Phil.

“We have really enjoyed our stay here in Preeceville," said Finn. "We have toured the museum, enjoyed freshly-baked bread in the outdoor clay oven, visited with family and paid our respects at our relatives’ graves in the cemetery.â€

The couple said they also enjoyed walking around the Town of Preeceville, meeting and visiting with the many local community members.

"When they toured the museum they were treated to freshly-baked bread, cinnamon buns and homemade jams and jellies," said Murrin.

They were also treated to lunch in the field with the opportunity to ride on a swather. This was the first time that the couple traveled to Western Canada and met their Canadian relatives.
