For the second week in a row the lacrosse Bulldogs got scoring in bunches. This time it wasn't quite enough to win the game and coach Joe Choptuik said it was because they slacked off at the wrong time and suffered a one-goal loss.

The Yorkton Cardinals of the Â鶹´«Ã½AV East Senior Baseball League took advantage of more good baseball weather Monday night and used it to take it to the Melville Bison. Going into the contest the Cardinals were sitting at 4-5 in the SESBL standings.
