The Bredenbury Golf Course is hosting their annual Members Tournament on Sun., Sept. 29, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. There will be roast beef served after the tournament at approximately 4:30 p.m. Everyone welcome to attend. Cost $10.00.

The Calder Annual Fall Supper is planned for Sept. 29, 2013 at the Calder Community Hall. Supper starts at 4:30, doors will be opened at 4:30. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy a wonderful meal.

Shane, Terra, Riley and Ashalee Talbot and Jennifer Gibson, a family friend, from Moose Jaw have recently returned from a very enjoyable trip to California.

Get well wishes go to Norman Johnson who underwent some surgery in Regina recently. Hope you're up to playing a game of catch real soon. Get well wishes also to Ken Allan who spent overnight in hospital last week.

Pearl and Paul Flaman were back in Saskatchewan from their home in Texas for most of July. They have visited with many family members and friends while camping at Waskisiu Provincial Park near Prince Albert and at Yorkton.

Laketown Leaders recently held club windup supper. Summer still includes Monday morning coffee at the Stirling Room, 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and July Noon Pot Luck is the 15th with August Noon Pot Luck scheduled for the 19th.

July 13th coffee row was a great deal of fun when over 20 persons attended and were treated to some delicious baking and "free" coffee by Leona Kaczur on the occasion of her birthday.

Dallas and Danya Forsberg of Regina and Sandra Forsberg from Saskatoon were recent visitors with Mary Forsberg. They attended the memorial for Rose Kopetski while here.

Congratulations to Bob and Louise Hershmiller on the arrival of a new grandson, Zavier Ben Heinzig. Zavier was born on June 22 to proud parents, Mike and Marla Heinzig of Calgary.
