The story of Carlyle Motor Products, which celebrates 25 years in business this week, is forever linked to the story of its owner, Garnet Goud.

The Government of Saskatchewan has committed $1 million in capital funding for a new day-program facility for people with intellectual disabilities in Weyburn. The project is being led by Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop Corp.

George Tosczak took a big dip into the $100 Million Prize Pool this week. The Weyburn resident saw a television advertisement for the new $100 Million Jumbo lottery ticket and decided to give it a try. He ended up winning $1 million.

The SGI Claims Centre will be closed for renovations starting May 14 and will re-open in late fall.
