Vehicle fire on 95th Street

North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services responded to a vehicle fire at the back of a building on the 1400 block of 95th Street. The call came in at around 11:40 a.m. Sunday.

A family dog died during a fire in North Battleford early Wednesday. The fire broke out in a single story residence at the 1200 block of 109th Street. The blaze broke out around 12:30 a.m. The fire was contained to the kitchen area.

North Battleford's city manager has been elected to a prestigious position with the Canadian Association of Municipal Administators. Jim Toye was elected president of the organization at their annual general meeting May 31 in Halifax.
