The community of Ruddell held its annual July 1 picnic with a lively crowd attending. This year was the108th consecutive celebration. Races, games, ice cream and lemonade were enjoyed by all.

Grad season has come and gone, the kids are out of school. Spring flowers have bloomed and fruit trees are fruiting, summer is really here. Tornados and flooding have been the topic of conversation amongst most these days, but life does go on.

The village of Denholm celebrated 100 years, 1912-2012. Registration was June 29. Coffee and dainties as well as a cash bar were available. The next day started off with a continental breakfast, followed by a parade.
