Spirits were high as students and staff from Neilburg Composite School presented their annual Christmas concert Dec. 18. Vice-Principal, Tyson Volk was the MC. The program began with two songs sung by the Kindergarten class.

Time passes so quickly. This weekend will be the school semester break. Students will be free on Friday, Jan. 25 for a long weekend. Jan. 18, Jean McPherson hosted a supper for her husband Jim Maxwell and his siblings at their home in Saskatoon.

Wild ride for the thermometer

Temperatures at various times lately have either risen or dropped very quickly. Jan. 25 my thermometer registered plus 4 C. Monday, it registered - 23 C. Nearing the end of January one can already notice that the days are getting longer.
