A byelection will be held in the village of Waseca March 26. There will be two positions to fill on the council. One position has been vacant for some time. Leslie Gray has resigned because the family are moving to Vancouver Island.

Nominations for the two positions are being accepted from Feb. 3 to the 19.

The Gray family will be missed in the village when they move. They have always been willing to help with any projects going in the village.

The Waseca Recreation Board is planing to hold their second annual fish fry Friday, March 21. The evening will include supper and silent and live auctions. Proceeds will be in aid of recreation, sports and culture for Waseca village.

Leslie Gray has been secretary-treasurer of the Waseca Recreation Board. When she leaves Tenille Senderek-Eberle will be filling in as secretary and Sandra Sutherland will be treasurer until the annual general meeting in April.

Arlee Lumgair spent the weekend with family in North Battleford. She attended a birthday celebration honouring her sister.
