Hockey teams wrap up seasons

Hockey teams have finished their regular season and now are involved in playoffs. Mark and Morgan Thomarat have been playing with the Maidstone senior Jets. Brody McFadyen has been playing in minor hockey.

A drop-in flu clinic was held at the Manitou Health Centre during the late afternoon and evening of Thursday, Jan. 30, providing an opportunity for those local residents who had not yet been immunized to obtain their protection from the flu virus.

The Battlefords Art Club members are fortunate to rent such a bright, sunny room at the Don Ross Centre. It inspires us to create acrylic, watercolour, drawings and zentangle (meditative doodling).

ABI, if you haven't heard of the group, their full name is Acquired Brain Injury Association. The New Beginnings chapter in our area is receiving support from Paynton entrepreneurs Doris Frost with partner in life and now business Dave Florizone.
