The Saskatchewan Men's Amateur Golf Championships were held last week at Deer Park. There were several locals vying for a spot on the national team. Monday and Tuesday morning saw golfers face some of the worst weather for the tournament.

Pee Wee baseball hits home

The Yorkton Cardinals hosted the Pee Wee "A" Provincial Championship in baseball from July 20 to 22. Six different teams came from across the province for the tournament. The Cardinals lost 4-9 in their first game against the Kindersley Royals.
