A girls team from the Yorkton Regional High School and a boys team from Saltcoats topped the district junior curling competition held at the Broda Sportsplex in Kamsack January 29 and 30.

A Swan River rink topped the annual Norquay Open Mixed Bonspiel that was played January 16 to 23 with 18 rinks participating. Out-of-town rinks were from Arran, Benito, Norquay, Pelly and Swan River.
