Well, February has been a busy month for the Calder School Students and Staff. First off, all the students and staff and family members motored down to Asessippi Ski Hill for a fun day of tubing, skiing, and snowboarding.

World Day of Prayer Service will be held at Bredenbury Knox United Church, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. Everyone Welcome.

The Goodeve Community Center held its regular monthly meeting on Jan. 14, 2013. They decided that there will be a supper and a dance on the evening of April 27, 2013. There will be more details to follow.

"Congratulations Cougars" on your win over Theodore on Saturday 7-4. Next game is Fri., Jan. 25 at 8:00 against Moosomin. Final game in league play off is Tues., Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. Come out and cheer your team on.

Knox United Church Services held every Sunday at 10:10 a.m. Please note that the Four Town Pastoral Charge Service will be held in Bredenbury on Sun., Jan. 27 at 10:00 a.m.

Leo Patrice Tremblay, born March 1, 1918 in the Qu'appelle Valley 麻豆传媒AV of Dubuc, the sixth of nine children, passed away Nov. 26, 2012 in Smithers, BC. Leo grew up on a farm and attended a one-room school house.

Found at the Busy Bees - Dark brown baby's winter cap and one mitten to match and a Samsung cell phone possibly left by those who rented the building over the holidays. Francis Boneham from Moose Jaw visited with Ann & Jim Purves for Christmas.

A lovely "carols and candles" Interdenominational Community Christmas service was held in the Dubuc Worship Centre on the evening of Sat., Dec. 22. Rev. Walter Farquarson of Saltcoats was the worship leader.

From our community to your community, we wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and all the Best in the New Year. The Calder Annual Community Christmas Potluck Supper was a wonderful turn out. Thanks to everyone who attended this event.
