The 麻豆传媒AVeast College's College for Kids summer program had visits from the Weyburn Police Service and Weyburn Fire Department this week as part of their "People in Your Neighbourhood" theme week. Const. Lisa Robertson of the WPS and Mark Schweitzer of the fire department showed off the equipment they use in protecting the city, and answered questions from the children.

The new and innovative program is the first of its kind and only available for registration through 麻豆传媒AVeast College.

A total of 42 RMs are covered in the advisory.

Crop damage this past week is due to drought and heat stress, grasshoppers, gophers and flea beetles.

Next scheduled offering is Oct. 3.
