Report from the Weyburn Police Service for week of April 18 to 24:*On April 24, police officers stopped a fight outside a local bar. A man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and charged under the local fighting bylaw.

A woman has been charges with arson for a house fire near Carlyle. On April 26 at 9:20 p.m. Carlyle RCMP and the Kipling Fire Department were called to a house fire on the Pheasant Rump First Nation.

Badminton Sub-District Playoffs were held last week. The Rookies competed in Arcola, the Seniors in Stoughton, and the Juniors at home in Carlyle. The Rookies played well in Arcola.
