Weekly RCMP report
There was a decrease in the number of calls received by the Carlyle detachment last week, with a total of 48, as compared to 58 the previous week. Five of the calls related to complaints of physical assault.

A tribute to local heroes
You could see the smoke as soon as you came over the hill, just outside of White Bear. It was billowing from somewhere in Carlyle, black and menacing. It did not look good, and it would be easy to find the source.

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of May 9 to 15: *Shortly after midnight on May 15, Police attended to a noisy party in the 400 block of Fifth Street. The occupants of the residence were warned about the noise bylaw.
