With the summer season in gear, Saskatchewan鈥檚 Ministry of Environment reminded all residents in the province to be bear aware.

Hungry babies are insistent, but these babies sure do make a lot of noise. Loggerhead Shrikes (a.k.a Butcherbirds) have particularly noisy little ones and they just might startle if people aren鈥檛 ready for them.

Favourable conditions for severe thunderstorms in the Assiniboia-Gravelbourg area, which in turn might produce tornadoes, were reported on July 7. Environment Canada said severe thunderstorms would develop later in afternoon towards the evening.
