Favourable conditions for severe thunderstorms in the Assiniboia-Gravelbourg area, which in turn might produce tornadoes, were reported on July 7. Environment Canada said severe thunderstorms would develop later in afternoon towards the evening.

Saskatchewan’s free fishing weekend is July 11-12

Saskatchewan’s annual summer free fishing weekend is July 11 and 12. Residents and visitors to the province are allowed to fish in any of Saskatchewan’s public waters, which are open to sport fishing with no licence required.
