NORTH BATTLEFORD - The finals are set in the SPHL.
The Meota Combines secured their place in the league finals after winning game five of their semifinal series with the Radisson Wheatkings on Sunday at Access Communications Centre.
The Combines won that deciding game 10-1, coming on the heels of a 5-1 loss in game four on Saturday night.
That sets up a finals matchup with the Turtleford Tigers. The Tigers secured their place in the finals with a three-game series sweep of the Battleford Beaver Blues in the semifinals.
The dates for the final series have yet to be posted on the league’s website.
