You know the songs, but you don鈥檛 know you know them. That is until you hear them again. The Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra undertook a special performance of one of its concerts at the Dekker Centre in North Battleford Sunday afternoon.

North Battleford has a thriving music scene that has produced world class musicians. One of the architects of the scene is music teacher, Gene Aulinger, subject of the most recent episode in the 鈥淏attlefords Untapped鈥� podcast series.

Elvis tribute artist Dean Z wants to bring out all Battlefords-area Elvis fans for a tribute show. But don鈥檛 come expecting an impersonation. Dean Z will bring his show 鈥淥ne Night With You鈥� to the Dekker Centre on Oct. 4.

Canadian country artist Aaron Pritchett is bringing his 鈥淥ut on the Town鈥� tour to the Battlefords later this month. Pritchett is the headliner on Sept. 29 at the Gold Eagle Casino in North Battleford.

Lisa Hornung鈥檚 Summer School for the Solo Voice continues to be a music lover鈥檚 go-to in the Battlefords. The program took place July 6 to 13 this year in North Battleford.
