Car-Mel Country rubbed elbows March 3 with such artists as Victoria Banks, Beverley Mahood, Bob McGrath Andrea Menard, Donny Parenteau and Jeffery Straker at the 37th annual Telemiracle, along with a veteran of the Telemiracle stage, Brad Johner.

Bingo shared with suites residents

Colleen Koski and Marlene Pike were to Lloydminster and visited with her mom May Ford. May is doing just fine. We enjoyed coffee and bingo at the Pine Island Suites Tuesday morning. Everyone there is doing well.
Radisson Citizen of the Year named

Radisson Citizen of the Year named

Radisson Citizen of the Year was Ellen Cousins, who was honoured Feb. 16 with the award. The Radisson Centennial 50/50, drawn the last Friday of every month, saw Doreen Parker winning $158 for February. Next draw will be March 28.

March appears to have come in "like a lamb," in our part of Saskatchewan. Daytime temperatures for the last few days have been slightly above zero. As usual the days are passing quickly. Congratulations to Kathy and Chris Jacobs of Salmon Arm, B.C.

Bert Lorne Joseph Cooper was born on Aug. 25, 1936 at the Notre Dame Hospital in North Battleford. Lorne was the sixth in a family of nine children and was raised in a single parent home.
