March comes in like a lamb

March appears to have come in "like a lamb," in our part of Saskatchewan. Daytime temperatures for the last few days have been slightly above zero. As usual the days are passing quickly. Congratulations to Kathy and Chris Jacobs of Salmon Arm, B.C.

Congratulations to Kathy and Chris Jacobs of Salmon Arm, B.C. on the birth of their third child. Cole Matthew was born Feb. 26.

Eileen and Keith Evans are once again proud grandparents as are Chris's parents who live in Saskatoon. Eileen and Keith now have seven grandchildren.

Cole Matthew was also welcomed by his sister and brother, Katy and Evan.

We are pleased to know that a former Forest Bank resident, Marian White of Cut Knife, is home again after spending a couple of days in a Saskatoon hospital. Keith and Eileen Evans brought her back to her home Saturday.

The piles of snow will take a while to melt this spring. Meanwhile, many of us are anxious to get out and complete last fall's work that last fall's snow so "rudely" interrupted.

Gully Gus says, "If we accept the challenges of living, we find each day renews an adventure!"
