Twenty four participants chosen to perform for Parkland Music Festival final concert
After close to 350 performers participated in the Parkland Music Festival at the Canora Composite School during the week, a number of the top candidates performed for the final concert on February 13. About 75 persons attended the concert.

Peewees face playoff action at home
The Preeceville peewee hockey team was the only team to see hockey playoff action at home on February 10. The team faced off against the Langenburg Peewee Warriors in a playoff home game and recorded a 14-2 win.

Obedience title achieved by special dog
Kelsey Kaban has been showing dogs for numerous years but this year was special when her dog, Legend achieved a rally novice title in obedience at the Crocus Obedience and Kennel Club Dog Show in Brandon, Man. on February 13 and 14.

The Perry Pasiechnik rink of Endeavour won the A event of the Endeavour open bonspiel hosted on February 10 -14. Having natural ice posed a challenge but 13 avid curling teams overcame it and had a lot of fun, said an organizer.
