Preeceville welcomes new doctor

Dr. Morteza Shahrestani will begin practice on February 16 as a general practitioner in Preeceville. Dr. Shahrestani will be joining Dawn Kennedy, nurse practitioner, at the Preeceville and District Health Centre.

The Bob Lebo and Glenda Jeffrey team won the two-person, one-day stick bonspiel held at the Preeceville Curling Rink on January 22. They defeated the Roy Fairburn and Joe Luciw pair in the A-event final.

Peewee team off to second round of provincials

The Preeceville Peewee Pats continue their race for the provincial C title. The first game in a set of two games was hosted in Wadena against the Wadena Wildcats on January 26. The series was based on a point basis not wins.
