The graduating class of 1968 from Sturgis Composite High School got reacquainted when the class celebrated its 50 th school reunion on August 17. This was the second time that the class held a reunion.

Premier Scott Moe has announced that Cam Swan will be the new deputy minister to the premier, replacing Kent Campbell who has served in an interim capacity since August 2017.

The Etoimamie Valley Riders Club allowed avid horse riders to showcase their skills at various events during gymkhana, which was part of the Preeceville Lions western weekend on July 14 and 15. Jen Hue was the announcer for the two-day event.
