Thanks to a pretty good shot at Deer Park golf course over the weekend, Yorkton's Barry Boehm is now officially $10, 000 richer. Golfing as part of the Men's Open, Boehm made his biggest shot on the third hole during play on Saturday afternoon.

The Parkland Racing Association will be holding their third race day of the season Aug. 14-15 at the Yellowhead International Speedway. Races will be held on both days and racing starts at 2 p.m.
